Can I vacuum up roaches?
Vacuuming can easily remove many roaches, but it raises dust. A special filter (called HEPA) is available for many brands of vacuums to help control dust. Most roaches will be killed by vacuuming, but it’s a good idea to change the vac- uum cleaner bag often and dispose of it in a double garbage bag. KEEP THEM OUT.

A cockroach can live up to four weeks inside a vacuum. They wouldn’t die because of being sucked into the vacuum or because of their injuries, but mostly due to the lack of food and water. And, if given enough time, they could form a nest inside. In some cases, they might be alive only for up to 24 hours.
